How Polyester (PET) Geogrid Works in Practice ?
A uniaxial geogrid acts like a series of high-strength tension
elements placed within the soil.
When the soil mass tries to move or spread (e.g., under the force
of gravity in a steep slope or behind a
retaining wall), the soil particles interlock with the geogrid's
apertures.
This transfers the tensile forces to the geogrid, which, due to its
high strength and stiffness, holds the soil in place.

Uniaxial Polyester Geogrids Applications:
