II. Scenario-Specific Inspection Checklist
1. Highway/Railway Roadbed Scenario
Visual Inspection: Check for new cracks, subsidence, and subsidence

Key Items: Inspect the geotextile for uneven stress, localized
bulging, and cracks at the joints.
Remediation Requirements: Grout cracks promptly if discovered.
Slope collapses require backfilling with cover soil. Damaged areas

Remedy: Repair damaged areas of the cover layer and clear the
leachate pipes. Localized corrosion and damage require the entire
geotextile to be replaced.
4. Landscaping/Drainage Layer Scenario
Appearance Inspection: Check for soil loss and surface water
accumulation.
Key Items: Check for exposed geotextiles and for drainage holes
blocked by soil or roots.
Remedy: Refill with soil, clean blocked drainage holes, and
promptly cover exposed areas with soil or mulch.
5. Acid/Alkali/Chemical Corrosion Scenario
Appearance Inspection: Check for discoloration, brittleness, or
cracking in the geotextile.
Key Items: Inspect for localized corrosion holes and debonding at
joints.
Remedy: Regularly sample and test for corrosion resistance. Replace
modified, corrosion-resistant geotextiles if signs of aging are
present.
